Private Event Information
The Private Dining Room
Our private dining room with wide plank flooring and brick fireplace will accommodate up to 35 guests for dinner, and 40 for cocktail reception. This dining room is available for dinner Monday through Saturday and for lunch Monday through Saturday.
The Main Dining Room
Our main dining room can be used for a cocktail party for 120 people, and will seat 75 people for dinner. Our main dining room has a limited availability and must be booked several weeks in advance.
The Balcony (Second Level)
Our balcony at the Light Horse Tavern can also be used for dining Monday through Saturday. It overlooks our spectacular mahogany bar and charming brick fireplace and is surrounded by ornate iron/mahogany railings. The balcony can be used as a cocktail reception area for your party prior to dinner in our private dining room. It can accommodate 40 guests for a standing cocktail party or seat 30 for dinner.
Large Groups
We can accommodate large groups by combining the balcony and the main dining room. However, please note that it is not uncommon for us to serve more than one event on a given day or evening and functions occasionally overlap. Should you wish to book both the balcony and the private room for your party, please be sure to make that request at the time of your inquiry to be assured of availability.
Gala Events
It is possible to book the entire restaurant Monday through Saturday. The Light Horse Tavern can hold up to 120 guests for a cocktail reception, with seating for up to 90 guests for dinner. Because we are open to the general public for lunch and dinner on weekdays and for dinner on Saturday night, parties using the main dining room are accommodated on a limited basis, with cost and availability arranged accordingly.
Reservation Information
A contract and deposit are required to secure your booking. Space is not on hold until we have received this contract and deposit. A reservation may be voided if the contract has not been returned by the specified date. The balance of your bill must be paid on or before the completion of the event.
